Where? Who?
You’ve been where? With who?
Asking all them questions, why are you asking all them questions? Making statements? Assuming?
Miscommunication is annoying, but apparently so is clarifying information.
Are you nervous to ask questions? Inquiring information can sometimes feel dangerous to your self esteem. Will I look unintelligent if I seek this information? Am I being nosey? Why do you want to know so much about me? What do you need this information for? Will you use this against me? Are you judging me?
Mercury is a cold and dry planet. Virgo is its preferred place or sign to be in because Virgo is also cold and dry. Unlike hotness, that is quick to form attachments, coldness doesn’t not seek connections quickly or feel attached to emotions easily. When you are researching, you need to take time to locate information and proper sources, as you cannot speed up that process.
Dryness causes this rigidness, not offering flexibility. Wetness is what gets us to go with the flow of life itself. It offers comfort, empathy, and is life giving within itself. Dryness makes matters more serious, not offering those same comforts and focusing on what’s logical in situations. Dry tones are also hard to interpret. When you are engaging in a conversation with a person who has a cold, dry tone you might feel condescension, rudeness, or even get bored in the midst of the convo.
Now, that could just be how that person talks on the regular you guys. Don’t start judging my cold and dry girlies. If you are anxiously attached, then you might have found the wrong group to turn you up.
Questions can be off putting for these reasons. People do not often feel welcomed to ask or answer questions, despite we being curious creatures in search of connection and understanding. Which is why people have an issue with Gemini’s.
Gemini’s bring out the Hot and Wetness within Mercury, the complete opposite of what Mercury prefers to be. Do not be confused when I say this: Mercury is domicile when it is in the place of Gemini as well.
Gemini, an air sign, is the area where we socialize and liven up the action. Curiosity killed the cat? Gemini doesn’t care. Gemini’s know how to seek, find, and relay, and distort (not inherently negative or positive). The information when Mercury is hot and wet is not as focused nor that serious: kind of like people just knowing random facts that provide no other value other than knowing it.
Gemini is where we find the social nature of Mercury; however, when Mercury intends to be Cold and Dry, that Heat and Moisture can cause Mercurial topics to get a bit messy. Too much movement causes scattered behavior, when Mercury wants to be a bit more reserved and dedicate time to understanding. Gemini quickly understands, but may not always keep or nurture the information in the same method.
None of this, between Virgo and Gemini are either good or bad, or better or worse. This is just how we understand the dynamic of the planets and the zodiac’s influence. Most importantly, it helps us understand the topic: Asking All Them Questions.
I believe in asking questions, despite them not always being well received. It’s all about context.
In class? Ask them questions. If you’re too nervous in front of other students, go to your professor/teacher after class hours to gain understanding.
In conversation? Remember to identify the tone of the conversation because that’s ultimately where it lies. Some people do not like too many questions at once, but if they’re telling a story maybe you want more details to understand the story.
Questions are not inherently bad, but questions can also draw reactions from people we don’t expect. As a black woman, people hate it when I ask questions that invoke people to think outside of their white, gender, and societal norms. It requires the other party to consider or examine their own way of thinking and being, which can come off as a threat to people not ready or willing to unpack that.
Keep asking questions, especially if you want to dismantle systems of the norm that oppress us from living fruitful lives. You should never stop learning and seeking information because other people are uncomfortable with seeking it themselves.
